Flock Misread License Plates in 71% of Alerts Sent to Roseville Police

Business Insider reports that Roseville Police records showed Flock misread license plates in 71% of 1,427 alerts that flagged a vehicle as stolen or connected to a felony in 2023 and 2024. Flock said Roseville used an atypical rear-only deployment with older hardware and camera placement outside its usual recommendations; Roseville said it continued reporting problems to the company.
