New Lawsuit: Do We Have a Right to Know We're Being Surveilled?

The New York Civil Liberties Union filed a precedent-setting suit against the Village of Scarsdale on behalf of resident Josh Frankel after the village denied his FOIL request for planned Flock camera locations. The village argues camera locations are 'deliberative' police strategy; NYCLU counters they are factual records.
