Savannah Police Places Six Employees on Leave Over Alleged License-Plate Reader Misuse

WTOC reports that Savannah Police placed four officers and two civilian employees on administrative leave after an internal audit flagged potential misuse of its Flock license-plate-reader system. The department referred the cases to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation; the allegations include searches involving acquaintances or family members and an alleged sharing of access with another agency.
